Outlook - Show Sent Items in a Shared Mailbox

This article only applies to a Windows computer.

Here are instructions on configuring Outlook to show "sent Items" in a shared mailbox. This only affects the person signed into the laptop and the Outlook application (not the web).

Step 1 - Close Outlook (if opened). Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.

Step 2 - Locate and then click the following registry subkey: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Preferences

Step 7 - Exit Registry Editor and launch Outlook. You may now send an email from a "shared" mailbox. You will see that it is now showing in the sent folder of the "shared" mailbox and not your "personal" mailbox.
