Overview: Many Kaltura users have received the error message, "We are unable to connect right now. Please check your network and try again later." This article describes the steps to access locally saved Kaltura videos so you can upload them manually to your Blackboard Media section.
Note: Instructions below are for Windows. Please skip below for macOS
Click on the box that says “Search” or “Type Here To Search” along the taskbar. Type in the word “run” without the quotes and press enter.

In the Run program, type in %localAppData%

Open the “Kaltura” folder, then the “Capture” folder, and finally the “Recordings” folder. The saved video files will be there. Check the modified date for the video you are looking for. It is also recommended that you open the file to ensure it is the correct video.

Once you have located the video file, drag and drop it into the upload section. Instructions on how to do that follows:

Once the file has been uploaded, you can submit the video.

Open the “Finder” program. Select “Go” then “Go to Folder”.

Type in: ~/library

Open the “Preferences” folder, then the “Kaltura” folder, then the “Capture” folder, and finally the “Recordings” folder. The saved video files will be there. It is recommended that you open the file to ensure it is the correct video.
