What is Brightspace?
Brightspace is the Learning Management System (LMS) tool that you will use to login to your MyPath courses. It is the platform that provides your competency content, learning activities, assignment submission areas, resource links, and communication tools.
Why is the University Making This Shift?
At UMass Global, we value student feedback as we look for ways to improve the student learning experience and increase opportunities for student success. Based on the feedback students shared in our student satisfaction surveys, we understand the value of shifting to a new Learning Management System that offers enhanced communication and Learning Activity engagement. This shift would provide more flexibility and opportunities in how students demonstrate learning and mastery of the competencies.
