Enrolled Students now have full access to both the online and desktop versions of Microsoft Office applications.
All actively enrolled students can now download and use the desktop versions of Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and more, in addition to the online versions.
Student that are no longer enrolled but maintain an "Active" status will retain access to the online only versions of Office.
To access Office Online and/or download the desktop applications, please log in to https://www.office.com/
Please note that once a student is no longer enrolled, their access to Microsoft Office will be discontinued.
Logging into Microsoft Desktop Applications
Follow these steps to sign in to Microsoft Office desktop applications such as Word, Excel, or PowerPoint using your UMass Global account.
1. Open a Microsoft Office desktop application such as Word or Excel from your computer.
2. Click on 'Sign in' in the top-right corner of the application window.
3. Enter your @mail.umassglobal.edu email address and click 'Next'.
4. Enter your password when prompted.
5. Complete Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) if required.
6. Once signed in, your Office apps will be fully activated and ready to use.
