A: You can. Please visit https://mfa.umassglobal.edu and log in using your student email address. From there, you can set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) by either using the Microsoft Authenticator app or selecting a phone option, such as receiving a text message or phone call.
Q: How do I access my student email address?
A: To access your UMass Global email, go to https://gmail.com. If you are not signed in to a personal Gmail account, click Sign In and enter your UMass Global email address (username@mail.umassglobal.edu). You will be redirected to Microsoft, where you will enter your UMass Global email address again followed by your password. At that point, you may be prompted to verify your identity using the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) method you have on file.
If you are already signed in to a personal Gmail account, click on your profile picture or initials in the upper-right corner of the screen and select Add Another Account. Enter your UMass Global email address (username@mail.umassglobal.edu), and you will be redirected to Microsoft. Q: How do I access my unofficial transcripts?
A: To access your unofficial transcript, log in to Self Service using your UMass Global email address and password. Once logged in, navigate to Student > Student Records > View Your Academic Transcript. Select All Levels and University of Massachusetts Global Unofficial, then click Submit. If you would like to save a copy, open the browser menu (three dots or dashes in the top-right corner), select Print, and choose the option to Save as PDF.
